ST. LOUIS - Esse Health today announced the addition of St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants, P.C., to the independent physician group, effective May 1, 2013. The practice will be the third specialty group to join Esse Health in the last 18 months, but the company’s first gastroenterologists. St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants, P.C., to be renamed Esse Health St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants, includes board-certified physicians Sajid Ansari, M.D., Timothy T. Brady, M.D., James Dimitroff, M.D., and Picha Moolsintong, M.D. The practice is located at St. Anthony’s Medical Center and SSM St. Clare Health Center, and all physicians are also on staff at Des Peres Hospital and Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

Dr. Ansari joined St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants in 2002 after completing medical school and residency in Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Ill., followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Neb. He is board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine. Born in Michigan, Dr. Ansari grew up in west central Illinois.
Dr. Brady has been in practice since 1986. He has been president of St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants since 2000 and currently acts as chief of gastroenterology at St. Clare Health Center, where he previously was chief of medicine and chief of staff. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology there as well. A native St. Louisan, Dr. Brady serves a past chairman of the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and has served on the Board of Directors for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
Dr. Dimitroff graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Internal Medicine there. He went on to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Kentucky. He joined St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants in 1994. He has served as the chief of medicine at Incarnate Word Hospital and has been the section chief of gastroenterology and medical director of the Endoscopy Laboratory at St. Anthony’s Medical Center since 2003. He currently holds a clinical appointment in the Department of Medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Moolsintong joined St. Louis Gastroenterology Consultants in the summer of 2007. Born in St. Louis, he attended medical school at the University of Missouri – Columbia before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at St. Louis University. During his professional training, Dr. Moolsintong organized and participated in medical missions to Mexico and was actively involved in research on Crohn's disease and chronic pancreatitis.
